Executive Director’s Letter:
This month, Sculpture features striking and original work from across the spectrum of three-dimensional art: Jason deCaires Taylor’s poetic, underwater reflections on environmental issues, Richard Van Buren’s mysterious abstract forms, Andrew Lyght’s compelling plays on history and dimensionality, Gisela Colón’s nebulous, shimmering pods, Linda Fleming’s latticed sculptural “sanctuaries,” Tim Shaw’s profound and grotesque tableaux, and Regina José Galindo’s embodied, intensely personal acts of protest and endurance.
Every issue of Sculpture magazine brings you new perspectives on contemporary art. Together with the ISC’s other programs, Sculpture takes you to new places to discover sculpture in its many forms.
