About Sculpture

A publication of the International Sculpture Center, Sculpture magazine is the essential source of information, criticism, and dialogue on all forms of contemporary sculpture internationally. It is published in print form and digitally six times per year.

The International Sculpture Center (ISC) is a member-supported, nonprofit organization founded in 1960 to champion the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique, vital contribution to society. Members include sculptors, collectors, patrons, architects, developers, journalists, curators, historians, critics, educators, foundries, galleries, and museums—anyone with an interest in and commitment to the field of sculpture.

The mission of ISC’s publications—including Sculpture magazine, its website, and books—is:

  • To be the primary source for current information on contemporary sculpture internationally.
  • To promote dialogue and the exchange of ideas through criticism, interviews, essays, features, and videos.
  • To bring the most current and compelling ideas about sculptural art and to introduce artists at every stage of their careers to our audience.
  • To be the primary venue promoting sculptural art around the world.
