Executive Director’s Letter:
This month, Sculpture deals with scale, chaos, and context in the installations of British artist Phyllida Barlow and Yi-chun Lo from Taiwan, the social sculpture of Jon Rubin and Matthew Mazzotta, Anne Chu’s provocative assemblages, and Melvin Edwards’s formal investigations of memory and liberation. This issue also includes a report on “Disruption,” a recent exhibition featuring works by members of the ISC Chapter Groups.
To find out more about ISC Chapters and sculpture groups around the world, check out our extensive directories at www.sculpture.org. The ISC Web site also features a digital opportunities section with more up-to-date listings than the print version of Insider. Digital opportunities are searchable, saveable, and very easy to use. Visit the Web site for this and other new content available to ISC members.
