Peter Buggenhout’s recent show, “Caterpillar Logic II,” acknowledged the process that transforms a homely creature into a delicate, beautiful butterfly. An equally striking, if not conventionally beautiful transition occurs in these works—two very large sculptures that, in their complexity, weight, and size, border on installation.
