Mary Ann Unger: To Shape a Moon from Bone

Williamstown, Massachusetts

Williams College Museum of Art

Through December 22, 2022

“To Shape a Moon from Bone,” a retrospective survey of New York artist Mary Ann Unger’s career (and her first solo museum presentation in over 20 years), presents the artist’s large-scale conceptual sculpture alongside a generous presentation of works on paper and smaller-scale projects. Several works by Eve Biddle, the late artist’s daughter, also bring her work into conversation with a new generation of artistic practice and context.
