Editor’s Letter:
September inaugurates a new season in the art world, and this year it is also bringing a host of changes to Sculpture. Having taken over as Executive Editor this summer, I am spearheading the redesign of both the Sculpture print magazine and Web site. To see exactly what these changes will look like, you’ll want to subscribe and follow along.
In the current issue, for instance, in addition to excellent pieces on Claudia Fontes, Jason Ellis, Saint Clair Cemin, Tallur L.N., and Johan Creten, Stephen Petersen, writing on “Kiefer Rodin,” discusses Rodin’s revolutionary mixing of objects from past works with those in progress. We will proceed in the same spirit: adding to the best of Sculpture in order to enhance the reader’s experience. It will be an exciting journey, and we hope you’ll join us. —Daniel Kunitz
