“I’ll Take You There; A Proclamation,” an exhibition of new work by New York-based artist Nari Ward, features text-based works constructed from shoelaces, two large-scale sculptural installations, a video work, and a series of new copper panels, drawing on themes of public memorial and protest through the transformation and recontextualization of everyday discarded materials, such as flowers, bottles, candles, and traffic cones.
